How many did Thomas kinkade painted during his lifetime?

Thomas Kinkade, the most-collected artist of his time lived in Placerville, California. He spent his entire life savings to produce his first lithograph. Though he was already a much admired illustrator, he has still managed to share his passion and artworks to support schools, hospitals and humanitarian relief. Thomas was inspired to make such wonderful canvas not with fame and fortune, but with the natural beauty that moved his heart to pursue his passion.

Thomas gave high regard to art and his profound sense for this encouraged him to create images that were not just meant for fashion accessory but for ministry as well. He showed his work of art from books, music textiles and great number of collectible. It was this ardor to focus with his ultimate goal of Sharing the Light.

Several of his paintings have hidden “N’s” representing his wife Nanette’s initial. Some other works have the numbers 5282 as honor of their wedding anniversary- May 02, 1982. He has also incorporated on his artworks his four daughters at each time of their birth. He painted affectionate images which correspond to their namesake; Chandler's Cottage, Evening at Merritt's Cottage, Everett's Cottage and Winsor Manor. He was a loving husband to his wife and a devout father to his children. It was his affection to his family that motivated him to add symbol of his love to his masterpiece.
